It was a homely and beautiful hotel, no complaints whatsoever, can recommend. Excellent stuff and well-equipped rooms, we had a nice experience. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was great with real homemade bread, natural juice and also jam.

Family-run with friendly staff, hot showers, and functional internet. Good location close to historic area. Great breakfasts with homemade food. Opportunity to chat with other travelers. Room had a private bathroom and socket adapter. Lovely family dog, but important for those with allergies. Low-budget, local experience.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The breakfast options were delicious and homemade, offering a variety of choices each morning. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, within walking distance to many popular attractions and conveniently close to a supermarket and restaurants.
The only payment method accepted at this hotel was cash. It would have been more convenient if they had the option to pay with credit or debit cards.

I had the most amazing breakfast experience at Hostal La Chorrera! Every morning, Anita and her mom prepared a different breakfast with fresh juice. They even offered flexible breakfast times to accommodate everyone's schedule. The local dishes they served were absolutely delicious, and they took the time to explain the Ecuadorian culture and local sights during breakfast. It was a truly heartwarming experience.

The staff were soooo amazing, always there to help and the dog was super cute. They gave detailed directions to El Mitad del Mundo, breakfast was heartwarming, and laundry service was a lifesaver. The Wi-Fi was connected flawlessly and the common room was comfy.

The staff was very kind and helpful, allowing me to keep my luggage and wait in the lobby. The breakfast provided was substantial and the dorm room was spacious and private. the location of the hotel was very convenient, with easy access to the metro via station and within walking distance to the old town.
There was some street noise, but this was common throughout Ecuador. I would recommend bringing earplugs.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
